CPI Bonding Company was born from a family business started in 1974 by Choyce Robertson. Choyce had worked for fourteen years as an assistant to several of the probate Judges in Dallas County. From 1974 until 1991 we were known as Choyce Robertson Insurance. Daughters Cyndi and Patti came on board in 1980 and 1985, respectively, which made the family business include all family members.
In 1991, desiring to slow down a bit and enjoy some travel with his wife, Choyce sold the business to his daughters, and CPI Bonding Company, PC was born. Carrying on in the tradition of the family, all four of Choyce's grandsons have worked at one time or another in the business their grandfather started. We truly are a family company, and we pride ourselves in the reputation of service our Dad established with attorneys and their clients since 1974.
After 35 years of working behind Choyce's home in Irving, CPI Bonding moved to Cedar Hill in April of 2007. Still convenient to the courts of the metroplex, we can provide all pre-bonding processes and bonding by mail, email or fax - just as we've done since 1974. Our business has grown over 35 years, the methods have changed a bit, but our goal remains as service with integrity. We are licensed to write bonds anywhere in the state of Texas.
Representing several surety companies, we have options available for the attorneys and their clients we serve . Since 1974 the process of underwriting and securing a bond has changed, but our goal has not changed. We strive to provide the fastest and most efficient bonding service available, and we understand that in most cases you are under a time deadline given by the court.
Having served Dallas and Tarrant county Probate courts since 1974, we continue to maintain updated forms and procedures required by each specific Probate Judge and his/her court respectively. We look forward to continued service to the courts, area attorneys, and the people of our communities.
